The ESP8266 Serial Wireless WIFI Module Adapter Plate is designed to make working with ESP-07, ESP-08, and ESP-12E SMD ESP8266 modules easier. These SMD modules have a small pin pitch that can be challenging to work with, but this adapter plate provides a solution for soldering and using these modules on breadboards or perforated boards.
Key Features:
- Compatibility: Works with ESP-07, ESP-08, and ESP-12E SMD ESP8266 modules.
- Easy Soldering: Simplifies the process of soldering the ESP modules to a PCB, with clearly indicated connection points through headers.
- 3.3V Regulator Support: Includes a reserved land-pattern for a 3.3V regulator on the bottom layer. Desoldering the 0 Ohm jumper resistor (R1) allows the VCC pin to accept 4.5V to 9V power input.
- Pull-up Resistor: Features a 10K pull-up resistor populated on the PCB for better stability.
- Clear Pinouts: Pinouts are labeled on the top layer in black for easy identification.
Specifications:
- PCB Color: White
- PCB Thickness: 1.6 mm
-
Dimensions:
- Length: 31 mm
- Width: 28 mm
- Height: 3 mm
- Weight: 4 grams
Package Includes:
- 1 x ESP8266 Adapter Plate
Usage Instructions:
- Soldering: Solder the ESP8266 module (ESP-07, ESP-08, or ESP-12E) onto the adapter plate. Ensure all pins are correctly aligned with the headers.
- Power Supply Configuration:
- If using a 3.3V power supply directly, no modification is necessary.
- To use a 3.3V regulator, desolder the 0 Ohm jumper resistor (R1). The VCC pin can then be supplied with 4.5V to 9V.
- Connection to Breadboard: Insert the adapter plate with the soldered ESP8266 module into a breadboard or perforated board for easy prototyping and development.
This adapter plate is an excellent accessory for anyone working with ESP8266 SMD modules, making it easier to integrate these modules into various projects and prototypes.
