HX1838 VS1838 NEC Infrared IR Remote Control Sensor Module

The HX1838 VS1838 sensor module is designed for wireless infrared remote control applications, particularly for Arduino projects. It uses the HX1838 sensor, offering high sensitivity and operates at 5V. It provides digital output and can be powered with 3.3V to 5V external voltage, suitable for both 5V and 3.3V microcontrollers.

The practical range of the sensor is about 5-8 meters, depending on environmental factors and barriers. The module features a receiving head with the HX1838 sensor and indicates power-on status with its built-in LED. It receives any remote coding data transmitted at a 38K frequency.

This module supports the NEC encoding format for 1-21-key remote controls and is suitable for various applications like USB port stereo, car MP3, foot bath, lighting, digital photo frames, microcontroller development boards, and learning boards.
