The Night Vision Sensitive Infrared Light 3W for Raspberry Pi Camera is designed to enhance night vision capabilities for surveillance camera projects using the Raspberry Pi. It features a high-power 850nm infrared LED and onboard components for ambient light detection and LED control. This module is compatible with the Night Vision Surveillance Camera Module 500W Webcam.

  How to Use:  

  1. Connect the Infrared LED Board to the camera PCB using screws.
  2. Use screw holes for attachment and power supply.
  3. Adjust the adjustable resistor to set the ambient light threshold for toggling the infrared LED.
  4. When ambient light is below the threshold, the LED turns on; when above, it turns off.

  Note:  

  • The high-power infrared LED may increase the Pi's temperature; consider using heat sinks.
  • The ideal imaging distance is within 3m; at 6m, images may be blurry.
