The Hall Effect Sensor Module is a compact sensor used to detect the proximity of a magnet. Here are its key features and specifications:

  Features:

  • Small size
  • Open-collector output transistor switches on when magnetic field rises above threshold level
  • Logic-compatible output
  • On-board LED indicator
  • Fast response (turn-on threshold: 35-450 Gauss, minimum hysteresis: 20 Gauss)
  • Operating voltage range: 4.5 – 24 volts
  • Uses Allegro Microsystems A3144EUA sensor
  • 3-pin interface (Signal, V+, GND)

  Operation:

  1. Place a 10K pull-up resistor between the "S" pin and the middle pin (+).
  2. Connect "-" pin to ground.
  3. Supply voltage to the middle pin.
  4. The "S" pin goes low (pulled to the ground) and the LED indicator turns on when the magnet is near.

  Specifications:

  • Operating Voltage: 3.3V to 5V
  • Length: 35mm
  • Width: 15mm
  • Height: 14mm
  • Weight: 3g

  Pins:

  • VCC: 2.3V to 5.3V
  • GND: Power supply ground
  • AOUT: Analog output to MCU.IO
  • DOUT: Digital output to MCU.IO

  Applications:

  • Motor speed measurement
  • Object position detection
  • Smart car projects
  • Electronic bricks

  Package Includes:

  • 1 x Linear Magnetic Hall sensor

This sensor is suitable for various applications requiring proximity detection of magnets and can be easily integrated into projects.
