The MT3608 is a budget-friendly DC-DC boost converter module that can efficiently boost input voltages as low as 2V up to an output voltage as high as 28VDC. With an input range of 2-24V and an output range of 5-28V at 2A, this module is ideal for obtaining stable 3.3V or 5V output from single or multiple AA cells or Li-ion batteries.
Features:
- Efficient Operation: Up to 93% efficiency for optimal power conversion.
- High Output Current: Capable of sourcing a good amount of current for various applications.
- Cost-Effective: An inexpensive solution for voltage boosting requirements.
- Simple Voltage Adjustment: Easy adjustment of output voltage to meet your specific needs.
Specifications:
- Input Voltage Range: 2V to 24V
- Output Voltage Range: 5V to 28V
- Output Current: 2A
- Operating Temperature Range: -40°C to +90°C
- Efficiency: 93%
- Dimensions: 36mm x 17mm x 7mm (L x W x H)
- Weight: 4g
Module Connections:
- VIN+ = Input Voltage
- VIN- = Ground
- VOUT+ = Output Voltage
- VOUT- = Ground (Connected to VIN- on the module)
How to Use:
- Connect the IN and IN- of the module with a voltage source ranging from 2V to 24V.
- Adjust the potentiometer to achieve the desired output voltage.
Voltage Adjustment:
- The module features a single-turn potentiometer for easy adjustment of the output voltage.
- Turning the pot clockwise (CW) decreases the output voltage, while turning it counterclockwise (CCW) increases the output voltage.
- The upper limit of the adjustment range depends on the input voltage and the load. For example, with a 9V input at 1A, the upper voltage limit is approximately 20V.
Package Includes:
- 1 x MT3608 2A Max DC-DC Step Up Ultra Small Power Module
Note:
- Ensure that the input voltage does not exceed the maximum input voltage specified.
- The peak output current should not exceed 2A for both input and output.
- The output voltage must be higher than the input voltage.
