Sharp GP2Y0A710K0F Infrared Proximity Sensor 100 to 550 cm

The Sharp GP2Y0A710K0F is an extra-long-range infrared proximity sensor designed to accurately measure distances between 100 cm to 550 cm. By bouncing infrared light off objects, this sensor returns an analog voltage that indicates the proximity of the nearest object. With its long-range capability, this sensor is an excellent alternative to sonar sensors for applications requiring detection at distances of 1 to 5 meters (3 to 15 feet).
