The TP4056 1A Li-Ion Lithium Battery Charging Module with Mini B USB interface is a compact and convenient charger for single-cell lithium-ion batteries. It features a Mini USB connector for easy connection to a computer or other USB power source, making it ideal for DIY projects and portable devices.

  Note:  

  • This module does not have overcurrent protection, so care should be taken to prevent excessive current flow.
  • Connect an ammeter in series with the 5V input for monitoring.
  • The charging current should ideally be around 0.37 times the battery capacity.
  • Use appropriately sized and short charging wires.
  • Ensure good contact between the module and the battery.
  • Normal operating temperature of the chip is up to about 60 degrees Celsius.
  • Reverse connection of the input has no effect on the chip, but reverse connection of the output (battery) will damage the chip.
