USB to RS485 TTL Serial Converter Adapter FT232

The USB to RS485 TTL Serial Converter Adapter FT232 is a USB2.0 standard converter that is backward compatible and complies with the standard RS485 protocol. It features direction control with automatic data flow control, allowing it to automatically distinguish and control data transfer direction. The converter supports baud rates ranging from 300 to 9216000 bps and can automatically detect the serial signal data rate. It supports multipoint connections, allowing each converter to connect up to 32 RS485 interface devices. The converter comes with TVS tube interface protection and USB self-recovery protection.

This USB to RS485 TTL Serial Converter provides bidirectional serial communication signal conversion between RS485 and a personal computer's USB port using a virtual serial COM port. It is self-powered from USB and uses FT232RL+75176, supporting up to 32 devices on the bus.

The converter features 4 jumpers that connect the USB interface to the RS485 interface. Removing the jumpers allows the USB interface to be used as a TTL level serial port.
