The Voltage Sensor Module 25V is a simple but useful module that uses a potential divider to reduce input voltage by a factor of 5. This enables you to use the analog input of a microcontroller to monitor voltages higher than it can normally sense. For instance, with a 0-5V analog input range, you can measure voltages up to 25V. The module features screw terminals for easy and secure wire connection.
The module is designed based on a resistive voltage divider principle, which reduces the input voltage to 5 times smaller at the red terminal connector. This allows Arduino analog input voltages up to 5V. The module can handle input voltages up to 5Vx5=25V (for 3.3V systems, input voltage should not exceed 3.3Vx5=16.5V).
