Simplify your XBee module setup with this USB to the serial base unit. This XBee USB adapter (CP2102) is compatible with all XBee modules, including Series 1 and Series 2.5, standard, and Pro versions. By plugging this unit into the XBee Explorer and attaching the USB cable, you gain direct access to the serial and programming pins on the XBee unit.

The board features a CP USB to Serial chip, allowing easy connection to your computer via USB. With the CP chip, you can reprogram the XBee modules to change the firmware as needed. Additionally, the board is powered by a USB cable for added convenience. This XBee USB adapter board comes equipped with the XBee XB24-Z7WIT-004 module from Digi, known for its improved power output and data protocol in the Series 2B.

The Series 2B modules offer enhanced capabilities for creating complex mesh networks based on the XBee ZB ZigBee mesh firmware. These modules facilitate reliable and straightforward communication between microcontrollers, computers, and systems with a serial port. Both point-to-point and multi-point networks are supported.

Featuring LED indicators for Power, RSSI, Din, and Dout, this module provides visual feedback on the status of your connections. It serves as a basic breakout board for Zigbee modules, allowing easy interfacing with PCs via USB. With this breakout board, you can even program the XBee module using the XCTU software.
